ARCH 401
In the Fall semester of 2021, we were tasked to produce a comprehensive architectural project based upon a building program and site that includes the development of programmed space, demonstrating an understanding of structural and environmental systems, life-safety provisions, wall sections, building assemblies, and the principles of sustainability.
Located in Downtown Los Angeles, the use of fiber-cement panels (EQUITONE) paired with a structural steel frame allowed for the project to maintain a look of solidarity while remaining lightweight and ventilated.
